Bravera Health Seven Rivers, formerly known as Seven Rivers Community Hospital, is a 128-bed Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital which opened in 1978. In keeping with their heritage, the hospital provides quality, compassionate healthcare to residents of Citrus County and surrounding areas. Bravera Health Seven Rivers care services include a dedicated orthopedic bone and joint center, cardiac catheterization lab and freestanding emergency department in Citrus Hills. Ocala Regional Medical Center is now HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. The 288-bed facility is located in the heart of Ocala, also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. With a Level II Trauma Center and the region’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center, the hospitals offer a host of quality and award-winning services. An extension of HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, HCA Florida West Marion Hospital opened in 2002 to meet the healthcare needs of the growing population of West Marion County. This 186-bed hospital features all private rooms and offers a full-service emergency room, as well as Marion County’s only inpatient Orthopedic Joint Care Center. Medical services include an array of surgical procedures, radiological services, urologic treatments, inpatient wound care for chronic wounds and a variety of outpatient services. The hospital’s cancer care services are the only accredited oncology services in Marion County.
